About the event:

The speakers will relay a brief overview of current “immigration compliance” practices. As the number of business travelers increases and gets more complex, the focus and importance of “immigration compliance” have been growing globally. This session will focus on “Japanese immigration compliance” and explain what both employees and employers should be aware of - also from a tax risk perspective.

The second part of the seminar will give a brief guidance on tax compliance rules for individual taxpayers, with a focus on recent hot topics, including asset and liabilities reporting, the updated position on exit tax rules, as well as the expanded scope of taxation for non-permanent residents.

The speakers are working as advisors with Deloitte Tohmatsu Group, a member of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited. Their practice focus for many years is on Japanese immigration services as well as taxation of expatriates and corporates from Germany and other European countries.
