This webinar focuses on the differences between German and Japanese multinational corporations and their effect on managing across cultures. We will discuss how to master major aspects of German-Japanese management, which include: Group-orientation vs. result-orientation, differences in hierarchy, direct and indirect communication and work division. The webinar also offers suggestions for creating a successful German-Japanese business environment and ways to achieve effective cross-cultural cooperation.

Parissa Haghirian is Professor of International Management in the Faculty of Liberal Arts at Sophia University, Tokyo, Japan.
