Event Overview
Large amounts of the GHG emissions in Germany and Japan are produced in the transportation sector. Significant changes in drivetrain technologies as well as individual, public and freight transport systems are needed to realize the energy transition and achieve global climate targets.
The 1st Japanese-German expert meeting “Perspectives on Sustainable Mobility” focuses on alternative low-carbon transport systems in the automotive sector and on effective infrastructure development. In this context, especially two technologies – namely hydrogen and e-mobility – are at the center of attention. Together with Japanese and German experts from politics, industry and academia political roadmaps, technical developments, challenges and opportunities will be discussed.
