German-Japanese Security Forum

During the last years, one keyword seems to be omnipresent on the global stage: the ongoing digitalization. Germany as well as Japan are following their own approaches with the German concept "Industrie 4.0" and the Japanese strategy "Connected industries". However, to implement new strategies successfully and benefit from new opportunities coming hand in hand with the digitalization, it is of utmost importance to create synergies and establish international partnerships. In order to foster the bilateral dialogue between Japan and Germany on a political and business level, the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan (AHK Japan) organized the "1st German-Japanese Digitalization Dialogue" in Tokyo.
