Chamber of Commerce and Industry Middle Lower Rhine (IHK Mittlerer Niederrhein)

The CCI is the network of around 80,000 companies in the Middle Lower Rhine region.

The Middle Lower Rhine is an economically strong region of North Rhine-Westphalia on the border with the Netherlands. The Netherlands lies to the west, the Ruhr region to the north-east, Dusseldorf to the south-east and the Cologne/Bonn conurbation to the south.

The Middle Lower Rhine consists of the areas of the cities of Krefeld and Mönchengladbach as well as the Rhine district of Neuss and the district of Viersen. Krefeld combines textile tradition with modern high technology. Mönchengladbach is the border hub between the economic areas of the Lower Rhine, the Netherlands and Belgium. The Rhine district of Neuss epitomises the industrial heart of the region. The district of Viersen combines economic performance with high leisure and recreational value.
