About
The Japan Machine Tool Importers' Association (JMTIA) was founded in 1955 as an association of machine tool importers.
Since then, we have supported Japanese manufacturing at the highest level in the world by introducing cutting-edge technologies from overseas through participation in exhibitions, mainly JIMTOF (Japan International Machine Tool Fair), and missions dispatched to various exhibitions in overseas, such as EMO, IMTS etc.
JMTIA is to contribute to the development of Japanese industry and economy by promoting imports of metal working equipment and technology such as cutting machine tools, forming machine tools, measuring/testing equipment, robotics,CAD/CAM systems,cutting tools and accessories and by holding various events which are common benefit to members.
