Monetising Service: Unlocking After-Sales Revenue with IT & OT Convergence
We would like to invite you to our upcoming Executive Insights featuring a keynote by Mr. Oliver Steil, Chairman of the Executive Board and CEO, TeamViewer.
In this talk, Oliver Steil, Chairman of the Executive Board and CEO of TeamViewer, will show how companies can continue to generate revenue after selling their products. The classic product lifecycle model includes the phases of introduction, growth, maturity, saturation, and decline. Modern companies aim to delay the saturation and decline phases as much as possible. One way to achieve this is by offering after-sales services – services provided after the actual product sale. Examples include:
- Remote connectivity tools for maintenance and support
- Augmented Reality (AR) assistance
- AI-based automation
For a long time, IT and OT were separate: IT managed office systems, while OT managed factory operations. Today, they are converging. Modern production facilities are connected to the Internet and send data to IT systems. This IT/OT convergence allows companies to make their physical operations more efficient, enabling remote machine control and predicting errors before they occur.
Subscription models in the IT and OT space also help improve operations while generating regular, recurring revenue.
In summary, this talk will show how companies can shift their focus from one-time product sales to continuous, profitable services – enhancing competitiveness and creating long-term revenue streams.
We look forward to your registration.
