Join AHK Japan for an exclusive Executive Insights breakfast session with Miki Tsusaka, President of Microsoft Japan. In this high-level discussion, she will share her perspective on how Japan is approaching AI, where the country stands in adopting the technology, and what distinguishes Japan’s path forward in light of its high standards for products, quality, and technological excellence.
Drawing on Microsoft’s own experience in developing, testing, and applying AI in business, the session will explore how AI is being used within Microsoft, how it is being adopted in Japan, and what can be learned from the company’s “Customer Zero” approach.
Beyond technology itself, the conversation will also address the human side of transformation, highlighting why successful AI adoption ultimately depends not only on systems and tools, but on people, leadership, and organizational change.

Keynote Speaker
Miki Tsusaka
President of Microsoft Japan
Miki Tsusaka has been president of Microsoft's Japan business since 2023. She now leads the tech giant's engagement with customers and business partners after spending over 30 years at Boston Consulting Group.
Microsoft is investing $2.9 billion in cloud computing and AI infrastructure, and opened its first Japan-based Research Asia lab last year. Microsoft hopes to upskill 3 million Japanese workers in AI by 2027, even as Japan’s corporate sector may lag other regions in AI adoption.
