Statement of Intent and Objectives as a Board Director of AHK Japan

As a senior executive of a leading German enterprise operating in Japan, I possess a deep commitment to strengthening the vital bilateral ties between our two nations and contributing meaningfully to the esteemed mission of AHK Japan. Should I be elected to the Board of Directors, my contributions will be strategically focused on the following three key pillars:

1. Driving Digital Transformation:

Drawing upon my extensive expertise in cloud innovation, artificial intelligence, and transformation leadership, I aim to provide valuable guidance to member businesses in navigating the complexities of digital evolution and enhancing their competitive edge within the global market through collaboration with AHK member companies. I will advocate for strategic technology-driven growth that is thoughtfully adapted to Japan’s unique business landscape.

2. Promoting Digital Reskilling and Inclusion:

I am firmly dedicated to fostering a future-ready workforce through impactful initiatives that promote digital literacy across various sectors, including businesses, universities, governmental bodies, and non-profit organizations. This commitment includes active support for programs such as “Digital Joshi,” which empowers women through digital reskilling. My overarching focus will be on promoting inclusive access to digital opportunities, with a strong emphasis on diversity and empowerment.

3. Strengthening the AHK Community:

I will actively work to enhance collaboration and foster strong relationships among member companies by initiating insightful study sessions, focused roundtables, and valuable networking events. These initiatives will aim to encourage mutual learning and the development of robust, mutually beneficial partnerships within the AHK network. Serving on the Board of Directors of AHK Japan would be both a distinct privilege and a significant responsibility. I am fully committed to contributing not only my extensive professional expertise but also my personal dedication to building stronger and more meaningful bridges between Germany and Japan—economically, socially, and culturally.
