We would like to invite you to our Executive Insights event: “Economic Outlook for rest of 2025 and into 2026” on November 13, 8:00 – 9:30 JST at Hilton Tokyo. Breakfast will be served at the event.  

Dr. Kentaro Koyama is Chief Economist at Deutsche Securities, specializing in macroeconomic, financial markets and economic policy. 

He will explain Japan’s economic outlook and recent topics to check on in the Japanese economy. 

Following his keynote speech, participants will be given the opportunity to ask questions during a Q&A session.

Dr. Kentaro Koyama  

Director Head of Research Japan Chief Economist  

Dr. Kentaro Koyama is a Chief Economist in the Japan Economics team based in Tokyo. He joined Deutsche Securities in September 2013. Previously, he was an economist at the Bank of Japan (Financial Markets Department, Institute for Monetary and Economic Studies), and after that engaged in business strategy and asset management consulting at an American consultancy. He received the Forecast Accuracy Award from Consensus Economics in 2019 and 2024. Kentaro graduated from Kyoto University Faculty of Engineering, has a Master Degree from University of Tokyo Graduate School of Economics, and carried out doctoral studies in economics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He received Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from Aoyama Gakuin University.
