We would like to invite you to the upcoming "Seminar on Ambidexterity and Leadership Excellence" on July 3rd, 2025 from 16:30 – 18:30 JST at AHK Japan.
Two leading minds from Germany - Christian Schwedler (BMW Group) and Daniel Vonier (Ex-SAP) - join AHK Japan for an inspiring cross-cultural leadership exchange. Explore how Japan and Germany are rethinking transformation in legacy industries facing a digital future.
In an era of constant disruption, German and Japanese companies face shared challenges -from aging systems to pressure from tech-driven competitors - requiring fundamental leadership and organizational transformation. The session offers two keynote impulses: Christian Schwedler introduces the concept of "New Ambidexterity," balancing performance with innovation, while Daniel Vonier explores "Unlearning Hierarchy" to foster adaptive, values-driven leadership. These expert inputs are followed by a moderated exchange that contrasts and connects German and Japanese leadership approaches. Participants gain strategic insight, cultural perspective, and actionable ideas to thrive amid complexity. The session ultimately aims to ignite cross-cultural collaboration and practical transformation for leaders navigating today’s volatile business landscape.
