Germany and Japan are central partners for industrial digitization. With cutting-edge innovation and international dialogue, they tackle the twin transitions facing society. On the one hand, they work jointly on global challenges such as supply chain resilience and climate change, for a more sustainable future. On the other hand, they enable the digital transformation of their industries and strengthen their local economies.

The aim of this year’s Germany-Japan Industrie 4.0 Expert Forum was to highlight the bilateral cooperation in the field of Industrie 4.0 and to share ideas on how to support and strengthen enterprises in their digitization processes.

Experts from industry, science and politics discussed developments in the fields of secure and sovereign digital ecosystems, IT-Security, standardization and robotics.
