Hessen’s economy is export-oriented to an above-average level. In this regard Japan is one of the most prominent target markets for Hessian companies in the Asian Region. At the same time, Hessen is home to one of the biggest Japanese business communities in Germany and Europe – the location of 300 Japanese companies in Hessen is evidence of our close economic relationship. This Business Day Japan aims to celebrate this collaboration and cooperation.
Japan stands in the forefront of the high tech nations worldwide, and in many industry sectors it is a global trendsetter and innovation driver. Particularly, on its way towards a hydrogen economy Japan has a lead over many other industrial nations. As such we would like to dedicate our Business Day to this issue. Marcus Schürmann, CEO of AHK Japan, will provide insights on the current economic situation in Japan and an economic outlook. We are grateful that Kawasaki Gas Turbine Europe has agreed to host our event. We would therefore like to cordially invite you to a fascinating morning with the subsequent opportunity for networking.
