先般、新しい政権・政策体制に移行した日独両国ですが、将来のカーボンニュートラル実現にむけてエネルギー転換政策は継続して推進されます。こうした取り組みの中で、「水素」（アンモニア、液体水素、LOHC、MCHなどを含む）の果たす役割は引き続き重要であると考えられ、企業間連携、産学連携、そして地域間連携などが進んできます。
さて、エネルギー業界最大の見本市であるSmart Energy Weekでは、今年もドイツ連邦州政府の関係者をはじめ、HY-5（北部ドイツ5州による水素導入推進イニシアチブ）メンバー、関連企業が来日し、展示活動などを行います。これまで日独エネルギーパートナーシップでは、水素インフラ、サプライチェーン、湾岸整備などについてのワークショップを開催してまいりましたが、この機会に、今年は「水素：リサーチからマーケットへ-日本とドイツの水素連携強化にむけて」をテーマに、自治体関係者や日独連携を進める研究者、企業の専門家をお招きし、日独の連携や将来展望について議論いたします。
