Working Group: Diversity 
The Diversity Working Group of AHK Japan is a platform for middle managers, young leaders, but also interested C-level managers to come together, discuss, and share their views on merits and value of as well as challenges in building a diverse workforce and teams. Topics discussed include among others how to build gender and ethnic diversity in a workforce, differences in German and Japanese business culture, building an environment where innovative thrives. Once a year the impressions of mostly middle managers of this Working Group series are being echoed to our “Executive Insights” C-Level event series. To participate in our Working Groups you have to become a member of AHK Japan, for details on our Working Groups click here.

The talent challenge provides a unique opportunity to get in touch with three of Japan’s finest universities and their students. student groups are giving presentations in which they respond to real business problem settings - "Challenges" - given to them in by interested AHK Japan member companies. Working Group: Young Leaders Forum
The young leaders Forum is designed for people up to 45 years in decision making positions with several years of working experience in Japan. TechBIZKON
TechBIZKON is a hybrid event jointly organized by four European countries designed for European and Japanese startups to discover new markets, network and present themselves. VCs and other participants have the chance to get in touch with startups, ask questions and network. 
Japanese and German Startups from the mobility sector will give their pitches followed by a Q&A and networking session. Interested Start-ups are welcome to reach out.

Our annual German Asparagus Dinner with directly imported German asparagus and wine. Guests are able to make new connections, meet old friends and enjoy a wonderful evening. AHK Japan members are entitled to bring along guests.
