This roundtable will focus on gender diversity, it’s value, merits and hurdles in implementation, specifically for and from the perspective of middle managers and young leaders. Slots for this event are limited to 25 participants on a first-come-first-served basis. Inter alias the following topics will be discussed:
- Value of diverse teams
- Firsthand experiences from a personal as well as a company perspective when transitioning towards a diverse workforce
- Requirements it needs to facilitate diverse teams
We encourage every participant to share their stories, perceptions and experiences on the topic. The subsequent open Q&A session provides room for further discussion and exchange.The overall aim is to learn from best practices, share expertise and the exchange with fellow members.

About the Young Leaders Forum
The Young Leaders Forum (YLF) was established in March 2016 and is one of five working groups at the AHK Japan. It is a platform for the next generation of the German-Japanese business community (under 40) to network outside of the boundaries of companies and industries.
The YLF meets 3 - 4 times a year at changing locations providing participants with access to interesting topics and speakers. The language of the YLF is English and open to all nationalities. On average around 25 participants (30% Japanese and 70% non-Japanese), attend each session.
