Ways to protect Artificial Intelligence in Europe vs Japan
IP budgets are tight and it is a challenge to use them in the most efficient way to protect own technology and products in Japan and abroad. Major investments are currently made in developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications in all technical fields. The protection of AI solutions can help to secure a competitive position in global competition.
This seminar, presented by Uwe Schriek, former head of a Siemens IP department and Dr. Sebastian Hermsdörfer, both German Patent attorneys working for the German law firm “Pfenning”, in cooperation with Ken Ieiri of the Japanese IP lawfirm “Hibiki” will explore how an effective and efficient IP strategy can be elaborated and how inventions concerning Artificial Intelligence can be protected by patents in Europe and in Japan.
After the seminar, the presenters are open for questions and discussions, as well as for individual consultation.
Participants may also join the presenters for a subsequent dinner in a restaurant nearby after the event and use the chance to exchange ideas in a smaller circle.
Please note that these costs will be borne by the participant.
