On the occasion of the 64th Annual General Meeting of AHK Japan, our members came together and elected a new Board of Directors. We sincerely congratulate all elected board members and wish them every success for the new mandate. We also express our heartfelt appreciation to the members of the previous Board for their valuable work, guidance, and commitment to AHK Japan and the German-Japanese business community.
This year’s AGM took place in an inspiring atmosphere of exchange and partnership at TRUNK (HOTEL) CAT STREET. On his visit to Japan, in his keynote, Alois Rainer, Federal Minister of Agriculture, Food and Regional Identity, highlighted the close German-Japanese partnership, built on more than 160 years of shared values and interests. He expressed his appreciation to AHK Japan for its support of German businesses in Japan and called for continued cooperation to ensure that “customers are not only satisfied but, ideally, truly happy”.
We greatly appreciated the remarks of Ambassador H. E. Petra Sigmund who shared her perspectives on current German–Japanese affairs and emphasized the important role of AHK Japan in promoting and strengthening bilateral economic relations.
We look forward to working together with our members, partners, and the newly elected Board to further strengthen German-Japanese business ties in the year ahead.
