Digital education and leadership in a changing society
The German Consulate General Osaka-Kobe, the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan (AHK Japan) and the Japanese-German Business Association (DJW) would like to invite you to our “German Economic Roundtable Osaka” networking event. The cooperation was launched in 2017 and we are pleased to continue the tradition and give the Japanese-German business community the opportunity to meet and network in the Kansai region.
The rapid pace of digitalization is not only changing our working world, but also the way education is taught and how companies are managed. For Germany and Japan, two leading industrialized nations, the urgent questions are how digital education can be shaped in an increasingly networked world, what role companies and managers play in this process, how the inclusion of all population groups, equal access to digital resources can be ensured and how copyright infringements and fake news, for example in the context of generative AI technology, can be countered.
Our event offers a platform to shed light on the current state of digital education in both countries and to discuss how countries and companies can overcome the challenges of digital transformation.
The focus will be on how leaders can drive digital education forward in order to best prepare their employees for the demands of the future. It will also discuss what strategies are needed to promote inclusive digital education that opens up equal opportunities for all groups in society.
The panel discussion aims to identify best practices and innovative approaches that can help companies and educational institutions alike benefit from the digital revolution.
