Self-Introduction & Motivation
Dear AHK Japan members,
My name is Peter Otten. Born and raised in Germany, I moved to Japan in 2013. Since 2023, I have served as the Representative Director of Gühring Japan, where we operate our headquarters and production facility in Toyota City.
As active members, our company deeply values AHK Japan’s events, business support, and working groups. Because I firmly believe the AHK is a vital pillar for the success of German and international businesses here, I want to step up my commitment by joining the Board of Directors.
If elected, I aim to be a strong voice for manufacturing SMEs in Japan that operate within global groups. Furthermore, as an Osaka resident, I am highly motivated to champion and expand AHK activities across the Kansai region, ensuring a robust local footprint nationwide.
