Working Group: Leaders Roundtable (formerly “Shachokai”)
Shachokai, one of the working groups of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan (AHK Japan), is relaunching as the “Leaders Roundtable”.
The Leaders Roundtable is an exclusive dialogue forum for presidents, CEOs, and executive directors responsible for management at our member companies. While the challenges and areas of interest faced by corporate representatives are diverse, there are numerous common themes regardless of industry or company size. Alongside universal management challenges such as business strategy, human resources management, legal affairs, and strengthening corporate capabilities, discussions focus on practical and fundamental themes unique to foreign-affiliated companies, including building relationships with headquarters and localization.
This roundtable will be conducted in Japanese, based on the concept of representatives from companies facing common challenges exchanging candid opinions and learning from one another. It offers a valuable opportunity to deepen mutual understanding by sharing experiences and insights from within your own organizations, and to build a trusted network that transcends industry and company size.
For this inaugural session, we are honoured to welcome Ms Hiromi Hara, Managing Executive Officer at SAP Japan K.K. and Board Member of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan, as our speaker. She will present on the theme: ‘How to blend humans and AI? Considering management in the hybrid era.’
Please note that this Leaders Roundtable has a capacity of 20 participants, therefore attendance is limited to one representative per company.
Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage interested parties to apply promptly.
