On April 4, 2024, the first group of programme trainees, along with representatives from ministries and industry partners, gathered at the Kick-off Ceremony, which was co-hosted by Ambassador Dr. Clemens von Goetze and Marcus Schürmann, CEO of AHK Japan.
Cooperating representatives Masatoshi Hasegawa, BMW Japan Corp., and Kazuo Matsunaga, Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation, emphasized the uniqueness of the programme, while Sora Kodama, speaking on behalf of the trainees, echoed their excitement for this initiative. Tetsuro Fukunaga, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, offered a toast and extended his wishes to the trainees for their future endeavors.
