The German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan (AHK Japan) has been organizing its ‘German Wine Festival’ for over 10 years. This year’s dates are for Tokyo are October 10 & 11 at HAPPO-EN.
The German Wine Festival is a great opportunity to invite clients and friends and enjoy a wonderful evening in a casual atmosphere with up to 15 different kinds of wines directly imported from Germany.
Make no mistake, this is not just a simple wine tasting! In the spirit of a true German Wine Festival, there is plenty of wine to go around for everyone.

Report
With 330 participants joining the event on October 10 and 11 in Tokyo, this year’s German Wine Festival was a big success. Everyone enjoyed networking in a relaxed atmosphere with a big variety of German Wine. On top of that, there was a German Cuisine buffet and Baumkuchen as a dessert.
Participants were able to choose from 2 Sparkling Wines, 6 White Wines, and 4 Red Wines. The most popular Red Wine verity was “St. Laurent” from the Dreissigacker Vinery. For the White Wine it was “Sauvignon Blanc & Viognier” from the Markus Schneider Vinery. Both wines popularity may root in their rarity in Japan.
We thank all sponsors and partners for their kind cooperation and look forward to next year’s German Wine Festival!
