Topic: Gender Diversity in Management Positions

Join our new Diversity Working Group "Gender Diversity in Management Positions" at the premises of AHK Japan. Through the course of 2023 we are trying to 1) distil job requirements female talents and young leaders would need to accept advancement into management or other high ranking leading positions and 2) mirror those requirements in separate session with the struggles and challenges of C-Level executives in promoting female talents.

This working group will be held in Japanese and discuss requirements female talents are looking for in order accept promotions and advancement into management roles. Our target group for this session are Japanese-speaking middle managers and young leaders across all industries, genders, nationalities and backgrounds.

This episode will focus on gender diversity and what environment it needs for female talents and young leaders to proceed into management positions.
For this we will listen to input from our chairwomen Dr. Carolina Kawakubo from Henkel Japan and receive some background on data, facts and figures of the status of gender diversity in Japan from Mr. Tsunori Manabu of Statista Japan.
