This event is an excellent opportunity for German companies to connect with students from one of Japan’s top private universities and learn how these students work and what kind of answers or solutions they come up with for typical business issues.

Participating companies prepare one or two topics/issues/questions related to marketing, management or organization, which they would like the students to research. The students are third and fourth year students of the Keio Faculty of Business and Commerce.

Participating companies attend the Kick-off event on June 5 (Wed.) and explain the research topics to the students. Each student team picks one topic, conducts research over a four-week period and then presents the results at a final session to representatives of the companies, including Q&A on July 4 (Thu.).

Past research topics include:
• The influence of car brands on the perception of future mobility services
• Employer Branding – How to be the employer of choice
• How can we foster innovation and entrepreneurial spirit in large corporations?
• Society 5.0: The importance of retail networks for consumer brands
• Marketing Strategies for new B2C product
• Changes in society and challenges for the modern workplace
