On May 9, our annual German Asparagus Dinner in Tokyo took place at the Palace Hotel Tokyo. 400 guests enjoyed the full-course dinner with directly imported German asparagus and wine and were able to make new connections, meet old friends and enjoy a wonderful evening.
Besides creative culinary delights (deep fried asparagus rolls together with cream of asparagus soup, grilled beef tenderloin with wasabi and green mustard) our guests also enjoyed a glass or two of the red and white wines provided by the German winery Markus Schneider. The entertainment, a three-piece instrumental band, created a nostalgic atmosphere with their interpretation of famous songs from the Heisei period.
As always, the last highlight of the evening was the raffle: 35 prices were handed over to the lucky winners!
