The German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan (AHK Japan) takes health and safety related issues associated with the outbreak of the coronavirus seriously. Against this background, the AHK Japan is in close contact with the German Embassy and provides regular updates to its members and partners. Please regularly check the website of the AHK Japan where information and updates will be shared.
While the AHK Japan continues its usual activities, we are asking all guests and members who meet the following criteria to refrain from joining our events:
- Those who have traveled to countries identified by the WHO as high-risk areas within the past 14 days,
- Have had contact with someone who has been in the affected areas as designated by the WHO during the last 14 days,
- Feel sick or unwell.
To Members of the AHK Japan
For the time being, we will carry on with our event/seminar schedule as far as possible while trying to offer seminars as webinars more frequently.
To Members of Business Delegations Coming to Japan
Please refer to the website of the German Embassy (German) and to the website of the German Federal Foreign Office (German).
Prevention Information
