At the Magdeburg site, PPM operates a unique test and pilot plant in Germany for the extraction and processing of vegetable oils and proteins on a pilot scale. We are an international and interdisciplinary team. Currently, about 20 chemists, engineers and laboratory technicians are employed at PPM.

The Wimex Group is a family-run, medium-sized company with its headquarters in Baasdorf, Saxony-Anhalt, and an administrative office in Regenstauf, Bavaria. Since its foundation in 1985, the company has developed into a renowned agricultural group with around 1,300 employees in the business areas of poultry, vegetables & fruit and energy.

Winzervereinigung Freyburg-Unstrut eG Winzervereinigung Freyburg-Unstrut eG was founded in 1934 with only 27 members. We´re the largest wine producer of the Saale–Unstrut region. With almost 360 cooperative vintners. We cultivate almost half of Saale-Unstrut´s grape vines; some 380 ha and fill 3.5 million bottles of wine per year.
You´ll find well–known grape varieties in our assortment like Weißburgunder, Müller–Thurgau, Riesling, Blauer Zweigelt, Dornfelder. We own one of the largest and best-maintained oak barrel cellars in Germany. For us the annual certification in accordance with the International Food Standard (IFS) is just as much a matter as our internal rating system that rewards our vintners for high grape quality.

About the South Saxony-Anhalt Network for the Food Industry

The South Saxony-Anhalt Network for the Food Industry is a regional association of companies & institutions of the food industry in in federal state of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany.
With a current annual turnover of 7.9 billion euros, the food industry is, alongside the chemical industry, the economic sector with the highest turnover in Saxony-Anhalt. According to recent studies, the turnover per company and employee in the food industry in Saxony-Anhalt is significantly higher than the national average.
The network is supported professionally and organizationally by the Halle-Dessau Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Agrarmarketinggesellschaft Sachsen-Anhalt mbH (AMG).
