Despite its world-class advanced technological capabilities, Japan faces a variety of social challenges, including an aging population, labor shortages, and increased potential for natural disasters. Experts from diverse fields in Japan and Germany gathered to discuss Japan's unique innovations in decarbonization and digitalization for a sustainable future.
We had a range of experts for the lectures and panel sessions: Ken Sakamura, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty, INIAD, Toyo University and an honored professor of the University of Tokyo; Toshiyuki Moriuchi, a professional Japanese Shogi chess player with the title of "Eternal Master"; and experts from several technology companies. Also, we had demonstrations and panel discussions from startups and established companies.
